I did more things to the smol blocc
A few coats of VHT primer, paint and clear and now it looks less farm truck-ish. (although I will admit it had some nice patina
.
)
It actually has more flake in it than normal, while the clear was curing I sprayed it with some rustoleum metallic finish paint. I held the can about a foot away and sprayed
very
fast so it didn’t cover too much and change the color.
Now all it needs is even more money thrown at it.
oh yeah remember how I
said I
was getting 11:1 pistons. Well my calculations were wrong, I’m actually
ending up with about 10.3:1. Much more streetable.

10.3 sounds much, much better than 11:1. Have fun! I’m still waiting on the machine shop to line hone / bore mine, but that’s not all bad because money.
